ChessGenius runs on all Apple iPhone and iPod touch devices.
ChessGenius is a very compact program.

How much do program updates cost?

Updates are free for registered users.

How do I castle with ChessGenius?

To castle move your king two squares to the right or left. If castling is legal Chess Genius will accept the move and move your rook.

ChessGenius has 128 KB hash tables.

How can I transfer a game from my device to my Desktop computer?

ChessGenius allows the current game to be sent as an email. Send the game to an email account on your desktop.

How can I transfer a game or database from my Desktop computer to my iPhone?

ChessGenius can download databases from the internet. If you have your own web space you can save a PGN database to your web space. It can then be downloaded to your iPhone

ChessGenius saves/loads games in PGN format. What is PGN?

PGN is "Portable Game Notation", a standard representation of chess game data in ASCII text files. It is used by most Chess software. For full details see: http://www.chessclub.com/help/PGN-spec. Here is a sample game:
